Confirming asks whether the deposit has been received. ASPIXR records the answer and takes no event money. Confirming creates the BEO, the contract and the event tasks.

Add named guests to a group, up to fifty at a time, and their rooms become confirmed stays. A group block is a plan: it does not hold rooms.

A confirmed event sends task cards to the Operations app: the group check-in pack, the setup and teardown crew, AV and staging, and the caterer order when there is catering.

Picked-up rooms are real stays on your calendar and reservations. Room charges post to a company master folio or to each guest's folio.
Fair questions.
Does a group block take rooms off the booking sites?
No. A block is a plan, not a reservation: your website, the booking sites and the desk can still sell those nights. Only a room you pick up is reserved.
Can I take the event deposit online?
No. When you confirm an event, your staff answer whether the deposit has been received. ASPIXR records that answer; it does not collect the money.
Can I add my own function rooms and catering menus?
Not from the screen yet. Today function rooms are added through the API or by our team, catering packages come from a list our team keeps, and group blocks are made through the assistant or the API.
Does it produce a BEO?
Yes. Confirming an event creates the BEO and the contract, and sends task cards to the Operations app.
